Whether or not an official social is organized, many Juventutem young adults will be heading to Washington D.C. for March for Life 2016.

Friday morning – Low Masses

Canon Aaron Huberfeld ICRSS and Canon Michael Stein ICRSS will each celebrate a 6:30 a.m. Low Mass at St. Mary, Mother of God on Friday, January 22nd.  These Canons of the Institute of Christ the King will be in DC as part of the Sursum Corda Midwest Brigade.

The Wanderer‘s Fr. Kevin Cusick, the clerical guide of Juventutem Southern Maryland, will offer an 8:00 a.m. Low Mass at the same parish.

Immediately afterward, at about 8:30 a.m., Fr. Seán Connolly (of the Archdiocese of New York) will offer a second Low Mass.

Friday afternoon – Pontifical Mass

Through the felicitous good will of Fr. Alfred J. Harris, The Paulus Institute for the Propagation of Sacred Liturgy has scheduled a Fourth Annual Nellie Gray Mass, which will follow the 2016 March for Life and will be celebrated by Bp. Edward Slattery on Friday, January 22, 2015 4:00 p.m., St. Mary Mother of God Church (5th&H, NW)

The Institute’s press release can be read here.  Fr. Bradley’s Facebook event is here.

The Vox in Rama choir from New York’s Church of the Holy Innocents will assist the Mass.

Friday evening – Socials

While no corporate social has been organized by the Paulus Institute, it is to be pleasantly imagined that many Mass attendees will crowd into the Irish Channel Pub, across the street, immediately afterward.

For those Juvenes making plans in advance, we encourage you to consider joining the many fine persons slightly across town at the MfL reception organized by the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture (Facebook event) at 6:30 p.m. – Register here by January 15th.
