On Friday evening, June 26th, Bishop Earl Boyea will celebrate a Traditional Latin Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton at 7:00 p.m. All ages are welcome to pray this Mass. The Mass will be preceded by the Rosary and confessions at 6:30 p.m. Facebook.

Immediately afterward, young adults (18-35), single and married, are invited across the street to Juventutem Michigan’s midsummer festival and social dance in the Parish Life Center, beginning around 8:15 p.m. Purchased in advance via Eventbrite, tickets are $15. At the door, they will be $20.

After a 15 minute lesson, the first hour and half of dancing will be “English Country Dancing” (one form of traditional, ‘called’ dancing, with new partners for each dance). There may also be some swing dancing.

English Country Dancing: On the first three Tuesdays of June (6/2, 6/9, & 6/16), members of Juventutem will be gathering at the weekly dances ($4) of the A2 community of Traditional Music and Dance, to have a good time and to prepare for our 6/26 young adult dance.

On June 26th, light refreshment will be provided. Childcare for infants and toddlers can be provided in a separate nursery, if registered on Eventbrite by June 20th.
