On Ascension Thursday, May 17, Juventutem Michigan follows up our Inaugural Mass and Social of April 27 with our May Mass and Social. Mass will be preceded by public recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. for the intention of an increase in Priestly and religious vocations in the local dioceses.
The Traditional Latin Mass is at 7:00 p.m. at Old St. Patrick Church of Ann Arbor. Mass will be followed by a cookout to celebrate this feast in a worthy fashion! Please note that all ages are welcome to the Mass, but the social is limited to those 18-35.

The International Juventutem Federation is an organization for young adults with an interest in and love for the Traditional Latin Mass. Juventutem is a group of Catholic young adults who pursue holiness by attending the Traditional Latin Mass and by tapping into other timeless traditions of the Faith. Members of Juventutem work for the sanctification of youth – both at the triennial World Youth Days as well as in the local dioceses and parishes.
The name “Juventutem” itself is the Latin word for “youth” and it appears in the opening prayers of the traditional Mass.
The founding members of Juventutem Michigan are concentrated in Ann Arbor and in the Archdiocese of Detroit; beginning in fall 2012 or sooner, monthly Masses as well as monthly catechetical conviviums will be organized in Metro Detroit.
Na quinta-feira da Assunção, 17 de maio, Juventutem Michigan dá continuidade à nossa Missa e Social inaugural de 27 de abril com nossa Missa e Social de maio. A Missa será precedida pela recitação pública do Santo Rosário às 18 h 30 min pela intenção de um crescente número de vocações sacerdotais e religiosas nas dioceses locais.
A Missa Tradicional em Latim será às 19 h na Igreja Velha São Patrício em Ann Arbor. A Missa será seguida de um jantar ao ar livre para uma celebração digna! Favor notar que enquanto pessoas de todas as idades são bem-vindas à Missa, o evento social é limitado àqueles entre 18 e 35 anos.

A Federação Internacional Juventutem é uma organização para jovens com interesse e amor pela Missa Tradicional em latim. Juventutem é um grupo de jovens católicos que buscam a santidade atendendo à Missa Tradicional em Latim e explorando outras tradições atemporais da Fé. Membros da Juventutem trabalham pela santificação da juventude – tanto nos trienais Dias Mundiais da Juventude, quanto nas dioceses e paróquias locais.
O próprio nome “Juventutem” é uma palavra em latim para juventude e aparece nas falas iniciais da Missa tradicional.
Os membros fundadores da Juventutem Michigan estão concentrados em Ann Arbor e na Arquidiocese de Detroit; no mais tardar, a partir do terceiro trimestre de 2012, Missas mensais assim como convívios catequéticos serão organizados na região metropolitana de Detroit.
